Our mail voiders were used under the plate armour by knights who didn’t want to encumber themselves with the weight of a full chainmail shirt. Under the armour, it protects the lower part of the arm and armpit from an attack that targets the weak spot of the armour. These voiders are intricately HANDMADE from 18 gauge mild steel rings with a diameter of approx. 6 mm each, riveted using DOME RIVETS. For increased strength, the rings alternate with SOLID FLAT RINGS. These come in a single size that fits most.
