Our mail voiders were used under the plate armour by knights who didn’t want to encumber themselves with the weight of a full chainmail shirt. Under the armour, it protects the lower part of the arm and armpit from an attack that targets the weak spot of the armour. This mail armour is intricately HANDMADE from 17 gauge mild steel rings with a diameter of approx. 9 mm each, riveted using WEDGE RIVETS. For increased strength, the rings alternate with SOLID FLAT RINGS.
